The Father-child relationship is the defining factor of the fatherhood role in life. Most fathers are naturally protective, supportive, and responsible and are able to provide a number of significant benefits to themselves, their communities, and their children. Involved fathers offer developmentally specific provisions to their sons and daughters throughout the life cycle and are impacted themselves by their doing so.

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.
The Father asked his Son, "What is this?"
The Son replied "It is a crow".
After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time,
"What is this?"
The Son said "Father, I have just now told you "It's a crow".
After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?"
At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son's tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. "It's a crow, a crow".
A little after, the Father again asked his Son t he 4th time,
"What is this?"
This time the Son shouted at his Father, "Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times 'IT IS A CROW'. Are you not able to understand this?"

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page.

When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-
"Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a
Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child".

While the little child asked him 23 times "What is this", the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same
question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

So.. If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your
parents. From today say this aloud, "I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.
They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today". Say a prayer to God, "I will serve my old parents in the BEST way.
I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.
So Love your Father......

Beautiful letter written by a father to his son 👌 Must send to your children

Beautiful letter written by a father to his son 👌
Must send to your children
Following is a letter to his son from a renowned Hong Kong TV broadcaster cum Child Psychologist.

The words are actually applicable to all of us, young or old, children or parents.!
This applies to daughters too. All parents can use this in their teachings to their children.

Dear son ,
I am writing this to you because of 3 reasons
1. Life, fortune and mishaps are unpredictable, nobody knows how long he lives. Some words are better said early.
2. I am your father, and if I don't tell you these, no one else will.
3. What is written is my own personal bitter experiences that perhaps could save you a lot of unnecessary heartaches. Remember the following as you go through life
1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has the responsibility of treating you well, except your mother and I.

To those who are good to you, you have to treasure it and be thankful, and ALSO you have to be cautious, because, everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend.

2. No one is indispensable, nothing is in the world that you must possess.

Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most.

3.Life is short.

When you waste your life today, tomorrow you would find that life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy life.

4.Love is but a transient feeling, and this feeling would fade with time and with one's mood. If your so called loved one leaves you, be patient, time will wash away your aches and sadness.

Don't over exaggerate the beauty and sweetness of love, and don't over exaggerate the sadness of falling out of love.

5.A lot of successful people did not receive a good education, that does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gain is your weapon in life.

One can go from rags to riches, but one has to start from some rags!

6.I do not expect you to financially support me when I am old, neither would I financially support your whole life. My responsibility as a supporter ends when you are grown up. After that, you decide whether you want to travel in a public transport or in your limousine, whether rich or poor.
7.You honour your words, but don't expect others to be so. You can be good to people, but don't expect people to be good to you. If you don't understand this, you would end up with unnecessary troubles.
8. I have bought lotteries on my teen years, but I could never strike any prize. That shows if you want to be rich, you have to work hard! There is no free lunch!
9. No matter how much time I have with you, let's treasure the time we have together. We do not know if we would meet again in our next life.
Your Dad

Lessons of Life...

Lessons of Life...

I feared being alone
until I learned to like
myself.
I feared failure
until I realized that I only
fail when I don't try.
I feared success
until I realized
that I had to try
in order to be happy
with myself.
I feared people's opinions
until I learned that
people would have opinions
about me anyway.
I feared rejection
until I learned to
have faith in myself.
I feared pain
until I learned that
it's necessary
for growth.
I feared the truth
until I saw the
ugliness in lies.
I feared life
until I experienced
its beauty.
I feared death
until I realized that it's
not an end, but a beginning.
I feared my destiny,
until I realized that
I had the power to change
my life.
I feared hate
until I saw that it
was nothing more than
ignorance.
I feared love
until it touched my heart,
making the darkness fade
into endless sunny days.
I feared ridicule
until I learned how
to laugh at myself.
I feared growing old
until I realized that
I gained wisdom every day.
I feared the future
until I realized that
life just kept getting
better.
I feared the past
until I realized that
it could no longer hurt me.
I feared the dark
until I saw the beauty
of the starlight.
I feared the light
until I learned that the
truth would give me
strength.
I feared change,
until I saw that
even the most beautiful butterfly
had to undergo a metamorphosis
before it could fly.

DO WE PERFORM OUR DUTY TO OUR PARENT?

DO WE PERFORM OUR DUTY TO OUR PARENT?

The parents nowadays are quite worried about the behavioral changes in their children due to several socio-economical reasons. The gap between parents and the younger generations, is increasing day by day due to which the family bonding is getting weaker and weaker. They have forgotten the countless efforts and sacrifices made by their parents throughout their lives.

Since birth we ate the food provided by them - many lakhs of times!!! Our household expenses, maintenance, educational needs, daily coaching etc., was attended by them free of cost. All our requirements under the sky, from childhood till we started earning our own income, was provided by them at their cost, despite their financial conditions and ability, until we became independent to enjoy and survive in this world. The services of our parents cannot be listed as it will run to volumes. All that we can do in return is our moral and spiritual responsibility to take care of them now when they are helpless
Give them enough money understanding their requirements without their indicating same.
Share time with them to laugh and smile.
Be polite and dont try to control their actions, but politely give your views slowly and softly.
While walking keep pace with them as due to age, they may be slow and stay behind them. Give them respect.
Look after their needs, just asking "shall I bring water, some biscuits, a fruit etc.,? Should i bring tea for you? Are you hungry, baba" etc
Observe their health condition closely and take them for periodical check ups. Sensitive parents will not ask you to do this and that.
Check whether they take their mdicines timely and remind, dont talk about the cost of the medicine and value!!
Take them out where they would like to go, and organise it to their satisfaction.
Go from time to time to public places, parks, restaurants of their choice etc.,
Respect their preferences and likes. Dont force your views and preferences.]
They dont demand respect, they deserve it
When elders arrive or depart, open the door with respect.
Go shoping and watch they select and dont comment on their choices.. Your choices certainly will differ with theirs and you cannot thrust it on theirs.
celebrate their birthdays and wedding days with some surprise gifts observing their needs and preferences.
Daily wish them before you go out and return home visiting them in their rooms.
Explain your children the importance of the grand parents and cultivate the habit so that you will be respected when they become grown up!!!
When you come back to home, visit them first in their room.
Dont criticise their friends and their manners, dresses etc., and talk ill of them. They have not come to see you,or care for your views, which please remember.
In any matter of discussions where the views of yours and the parents differ try to follow their views as much as possible finding a compromising solution without hurting feelings. Remember their sacrifices and time, and you owe them immeasurably which they never asked for. Going their way with your supporting ideas would be ideal patiently and politely.
Disposal of old parents to old age homes, and separate care homes is a crime unpardonable. Rememer their hardship and difficulties in bringing you up and putting up with your tantrums and obstinacies unmindfully. Dont be ignorant..
At the dinner table, first serve food to them and then to others
A word to parents also -- Please for heaven's sake dont mention how much troubles and sufferings you had in bringing up your children in front of them or talk about the money you spent on their studies and maintenance etc. This is not settlement of account matter. Love begets love which please remember and dont degrade yourself. You should not demand respect but command it.

Interesting Things to Must Know

Your Stomach Secretes Corrosive Acid
There's one dangerous liquid no airport security can confiscate from you: It's in your gut. Your stomach cells secrete hydrochloric acid, a corrosive compound used to treat metals in the industrial world. It can pickle steel, but mucous lining the stomach wall keeps this poisonous liquid safely in the digestive system, breaking down lunch.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Body Position Affects Your Memory
Can't remember your anniversary, hubby? Try getting down on one knee. Memories are highly embodied in our senses. A scent or sound may evoke a distant episode from one's childhood. The connections can be obvious (a bicycle bell makes you remember your old paper route) or inscrutable. A recent study helps decipher some of this embodiment. An article in the January 2007 issue of Cognition reports that episodes from your past are remembered faster and better while in a body position similar to the pose struck during the event.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Bones Break (Down) to Balance Minerals
In addition to supporting the bag of organs and muscles that is our body, bones help regulate our calcium levels. Bones contain both phosphorus and calcium, the latter of which is needed by muscles and nerves. If the element is in short supply, certain hormones will cause bones to break down eupping calcium levels in the bodyeuntil the appropriate extracellular concentration is reached.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Much of a Meal is Food For Thought
Though it makes up only 2 percent of our total body weight, the brain demands 20 percent of the body's oxygen and calories. To keep our noggin well-stocked with resources, three major cerebral arteries are constantly pumping in oxygen. A blockage or break in one of them starves brain cells of the energy they require to function, impairing the functions controlled by that region. This is a stroke.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Thousands of Eggs Unused by Ovaries
When a woman reaches her late 40s or early 50s, the monthly menstrual cycle that controls her hormone levels and readies ova for insemination ceases. Her ovaries have been producing less and less estrogen, inciting physical and emotional changes across her body. Her underdeveloped egg follicles begin to fail to release ova as regularly as before. The average adolescent girl has 34,000 underdeveloped egg follicles, although only 350 or so mature during her life (at the rate of about one per month). The unused egg follicles then deteriorate. With no potential pregnancy on the horizon, the brain can stop managing the release of ova.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Puberty Reshapes Brain Structure, Makes for Missed Curfews
We know that hormone-fueled changes in the body are necessary to encourage growth and ready the body for reproduction. But why is adolescence so emotionally unpleasant? Hormones like testosterone actually influence the development of neurons in the brain, and the changes made to brain structure have many behavioral consequences. Expect emotional awkwardness, apathy and poor decision-making skills as regions in the frontal cortex mature.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Cell Hairs Move Mucus
Most cells in our bodies sport hair-like organelles called cilia that help out with a variety of functions, from digestion to hearing. In the nose, cilia help to drain mucus from the nasal cavity down to the throat. Cold weather slows down the draining process, causing a mucus backup that can leave you with snotty sleeves. Swollen nasal membranes or condensation can also cause a stuffed schnozzle.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Big Brains Cause Cramped Mouths
Evolution isn't perfect. If it were, we might have wings instead of wisdom teeth. Sometimes useless features stick around in a species simply because they're not doing much harm. But wisdom teeth weren't always a cash crop for oral surgeons. Long ago, they served as a useful third set of meat-mashing molars. But as our brains grew our jawbone structure changed, leaving us with expensively overcrowded mouths.
Interesting Things to Must Know

The World Laughs with You
Just as watching someone yawn can induce the behavior in yourself, recent evidence suggests that laughter is a social cue for mimicry. Hearing a laugh actually stimulates the brain region associated with facial movements. Mimicry plays an important role in social interaction. Cues like sneezing, laughing, crying and yawning may be ways of creating strong social bonds within a group.
Interesting Things to Must Know

Your Skin Has Four Colors
All skin, without coloring, would appear creamy white. Near-surface blood vessels add a blush of red. A yellow pigment also tints the canvas. Lastly, sepia-toned melanin, created in response to ultraviolet rays, appears black in large amounts. These four hues mix in different proportions to create the skin colors of all the peoples of Earth.
